To all Martial Arts Aficionados,
We are extremely pleased and proud to announce KUNG FU TAI CHI 20 YEARS celebrating of two decades of publishing our magazine! We’ll be celebrated all year long, as well as holding a series of formal events on June 9-10, 2012, in downtown San Jose, California. We sincerely hope you can join us for this historic gathering of martial arts masters, champions, practitioners and enthusiasts.
On Saturday, June 9th, we will hold the 4th Tiger Claw's KungFuMagazine.com Championship, once again at San Jose’s spacious McEnery Convention Center. This is in cooperation with Tony and Theresa Kattengell, the promoters of the 9th annual Shark City Nationals. This year, registration for Shark City and TCKFMC will be separate. Additionally, there are some new caps on how many divisions a competitor may enter. You’ll find registration information under CHAMPIONSHIP REGISTRATION in the yellow navigation bar to the right. Once again, we are very pleased to hold the 3rd Annual WildAid Tiger Claw Championship, our showcase benefit event at TCKFMC. All the proceeds of this event will be donated to WildAid’s continuing efforts to save wild tigers and other endangered animals. Spectator tickets will be available at the door for $20.
On the evening of Saturday, June 9th, we will hold the KUNG FU TAI CHI 20 YEARS GALA BANQUET. All of our past cover masters are invited for a celebratory banquet and martial arts demonstration. Tickets for this event are available for purchase online at KFTC 20 GALA BANQUET TICKETS. Reserve your seat now, for this is sure to sell out.
On Sunday, June 10th, we will be holding a KUNG FU TAI CHI DAY Street Fair in downtown San Jose. This event will be free and open to the public. It has always been the mission of Kung Fu Tai Chi to promote the Chinese martial arts, and what better way than to take it to the streets?
Of course, the 4th Tiger Claw’s KungFuMagazine.com Championship, the KUNG FU TAI CHI 20 YEARS GALA BANQUET and KUNG FU TAI CHI DAY will receive ample coverage in our publications, including a live webcast, in-depth reports here in Kung Fu Tai Chi, and special DVDs of the event.
