Maybe it's an age thing. Maybe it's just that I can't stand Cera. After all these years, doug, you know me. Sometimes there are actors/actresses that just bug me.

Just watched this last night...I thought it was pretty funny.
however....I understand what you 'old' guys hate because I can't stand it either, it's the 'emo' thing. I've gotten used to it, but it still bothers me.
To me a 'hipster' will always be how Burroughs defined it in 'Junky' [something along the lines of 'someone who can score any drug anywhere in the world, whether or not they know anybody there or speak the local language']...it bothers me that nowadays people think 'emo' when they hear 'hipster.'
ya i liked that movie myself. it had a classic comic booky feel to the whole ordeal. it was funny to see him busting out those moves too since he comes off as such a gangly goofball. you dont expect him to learn the choreography, but i remember watching a late night show and he said it was all him.

For whoso comes amongst many shall one day find that no one man is by so far the mightiest of all.
Yeah, I was actually thinking he looked pretty good--like maybe kung fu was even a hobby for him and not just for the movie.
That movie cracked me up, great actor.
It was one of those WTF? movies that you just watch because you have to see how it ends.
The scene where asian chick goes to his "house" looking for him and while his friend is telling her he isn't there he flies through the window was hilarious !!
Psalms 144:1
Praise be my Lord my Rock,
He trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle !
"Pretty much all of the cast, even those who weren't doing fight scenes," he added before going to describe some of the specifics including, "two hours training in the morning with a fight instructor, and pilates, and a lot of push-ups. Surprisingly or not, the trainer gave everyone nicknames, and Cera became 'Mikey the Push-Up King!"

Back on the charts. The web is weird.
Brie Larson Returns to Billboard Charts With 'Scott Pilgrim' Song
MUSIC
Weeks After Director Edgar Wright Tweeted A Clip Of Larson's Cover Of The Metric Classic From The Movie, 'Black Sheep' Gets Into The Top 10 Of U.S. Rock Digital Song Sales And Alternative Digital Song Sales
Jun 17, 2021
AceShowbiz - Brie Larson has scored an unlikely top 10 hit in both the U.S. Rock Digital Song Sales and Alternative Digital Song Sales charts with a song she recorded over a decade ago.
The "Captain Marvel" star teamed up with Metric to record "Black Sheep" for the soundtrack to "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" and the song is back in vogue after director Edgar Wright tweeted a clip from a scene in the film, which features Larson performing the song, and announced that not only would an extended version of the soundtrack be available on all streaming services next month (July 2021), but fans could now stream Brie's famous cover.
"On July 9th, the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Expanded Edition) will be available on all digital music services," Wright wrote in the early June post. "The expanded soundtrack includes demos from Beck and more music from the movie including Brie Larson's performance of the @metric classic 'Black Sheep' - stream it now!"
And they did just that - "Black Sheep" has also entered Billboard's Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart at 34, thanks to a million U.S. streams.
It's not Larson's first pop hit - she also hit the charts in 2005 with her debut single, "She Said".
Larson took on the role of Michael Cera's on-screen ex-girlfriend Natalie "Envy" Adams in "Scott Pilgrim". As Envy, she delivered her version of "Black Sheep" alongside fictional rock band The Clash at Demonhead.
In November 2020, Larson put out a YouTube video of herself learning and performing a dance to "Black Sheep". Having had the help of choreographer Galen Hooks, she gushed in the description box, "I'm in love with the results and I will definitely be doing it in my living room at midnight every night."
